NOTICE OF SPRING ELECTION
State of Wisconsin
April 7, 2026

Election Details

An election is to be held in the towns, villages, cities, wards, and election districts of the State of Wisconsin, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The following officers are to be elected:

Judicial Officers

One (1) Justice of the Supreme Court, for the term of ten (10) years, to succeed the present incumbent listed, whose term of office will expire on July 31, 2026:

JUSTICE OF THE SUPREME COURT  – Rebecca G. Bradley

One (1) Court of Appeals Judge, for the term of six (6) years, to succeed the present incumbent listed, whose term of office will expire on July 31, 2026:

COURT OF APPEALS JUDGE DISTRICT 4 – Rachel A. Graham

County Supervisor

A County Supervisor for each county supervisory district (if required), for a term of two (2) years, to succeed the present incumbent listed, whose term will expire on April 20, 2026:

Municipal Judge

A Municipal Judge, serving more than one municipality, for a term of two years to succeed the present incumbent listed, whose term of office will expire on April 30, 2026:

Town and Village of Albany – Incumbent A.B. Runaas

Information concerning multi-jurisdictional municipal judge district boundaries may be obtained from (insert name and address of county clerk and any other source).

For Candidates
The first day to circulate nomination papers is December 1, 2025, and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2025. Candidates for (list statewide and judicial titles) file omination papers and declarations of candidacy with the Wisconsin Elections Commission. Candidates for (list county titles) file (insert your own office filing information).

Primary Election
If a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Additional Information
Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election. If you do not have a photo ID, you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.

WATER TESTING-- FEB AND MARCH 2026

2026 Drinking Water Testing Program Press Release

Drinking water testing set for Monday, March 2nd, 2026. Municipalities (public water suppliers) are regulated to test the water they provide to citizens. Rural residents on their own well only know if their water is good if they have tested it. Reserve a test kit by signing up here: https://forms.gle/ZtsEsgftmLpMLipg6 or use the QR code to the left to be brought to the form. (To use the QR code: turn on your smart phone's camera app and hover over the "picture" a link will pop up- click on it). You must register with this form by February 6, 2026, to get reminders of the program.

Townships will coordinate sample bottle pick up and payment the last week of February. On Monday, March 2nd, 2026, all participants will sample their water and return the bottles to their township coordinator. At the end of April there will be a free educational program where participants can learn about groundwater and how to interpret their test results.
