How do I get a dog license?

Chapter 174 of the Wisconsin Statute requires owners of dogs more than 5 months of age on January 1 shall annually pay the dog license tax and obtain a license. All Green County dog licenses for dogs residing in Albany Township must be purchased via U.S. Mail. Cost is $5.00 per spayed/neutered dog and $10.00 per unaltered dog. Multiple dog licenses are available for $35.00 for 12 or fewer dogs and an additional $3.00 for each dog in excess of 12.

A late fee of $5.00 per dog could be assessed if a license is not obtained by April 1. Remit payment along with a copy of your VET CERTIFICATION for each dog showing date of rabies vaccination to:

Snow Removal Mailbox Damage, and Roadside Garbage Pick-up

To allow for effective and efficient plowing, and to eliminate the potential of trash container damage, please place the containers a reasonable distance from the edge of the road. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Reminder: Per Wisconsin Act 82, it is unlawful for residents to push and plow snow across a township road.
Mailbox Damage Policy. It is the Boards policy to assist only when the plow has actually come in contact with a mailbox; not if it was just snow. When contacting us regarding this situation, please format your email with: SUBJECT: "Mailbox damage" MESSAGE: 1. Complete Details regarding damage 2. Full Name 3. Date/time of event 4. Photo(s) of damage and surrounding area

Albany School District

2026 Recently, community members, myself included, received property tax information that has understandably raised questions about how school funding works and how local school taxes are determined. School funding is complex, and changes in taxes are often influenced by multiple factors beyond any single decision or program including local property valuation and state legislative priorities. The purpose of this document is to provide clear, accurate, and transparent facts about school funding. If you'd like to have a conversation about this information please contact me at 608-862-3135.
